My Spring Break Kickoff

Posted on: March 14th, 2009 by Susan No Comments

I kicked off my spring break by spending three hours organizing my home office.  It’s not lost on me that most tend to kick off their break with some festive occasion located in a warm climate.  Believe it or not, cleaning my home office is a festive occassion.  It’s not exactly warm, but the metaphor was bound to break down at some point.  I digress.

My major task was getting rid of paperwork I no longer need.  This task led me to one of my favorite tasks:  shredding.  For whatever reason, shredding makes me feel like I’ve accomplished some big task.  Who knows the reason why?!  One and half bags of shredded matter later, my office now has space for this year’s paperwork…just don’t send me any yet.  I want to enjoy the extra space in the filing cabinet for a few more days!
