I’m thinking that the definition of “rich enough” is a moving target. At what point do we know that we are rich? Is there some line somewhere that we cross over that lets us know that we are officially rich? Thankfully, God’s idea of being rich isn’t a moving target. In Ephesians 2, we learn that we are made alive in Christ by God’s great riches–not because of anything we can do (or buy) on our own.
While the survey took place in 2008, the Pew Research Center’s findings on Who Wants to be Rich? are nonetheless thought provoking.
