I don’t really blog very well.  You’d think I’d have a lot to write about given that I am extrovert.  It’s not that there are no lively events in my life to write about, but it’s more that I’m not convinced that anyone reads this blog.  Well, anyone but Eric.  That’s right, folks.  The one person who reads my blog consistently is Eric, a male.  Yes, this manly man isn’t afraid to read a blog on a site that is a bit feminine in its design. =)

Eric, thanks for reading my miscellaneous thoughts and for giving me a reason to at least post something every couple of years so that you have something to read. =)

Here’s my challenge:  help me get over my blogging block by posting a shout out to Defiant Joy using the post a comment box below.  Your e-mail address isn’t published and you can even enter “anonymous” for your name.    A simple:  “I’m  not Eric and I read your blog” will do.  Eric’s replies are lonely and need some friends.  Let’s not let him down!

Note to Eric:  I welcome you to kick off the reply to this message frenzy!

C’mon ladies, Susan’s blog is worth the effort. If you want a good argument, she doesn’t back down. She speaks her mind and puts all in order. Let’s not lose her.

  2. Susan says:

I knew I could count on you, Eric!

Okay, if you’re reading this message and you’re not Eric, now is the time to post your comment. Go for it!

  3. John Young says:

I’m reading this message and I’m not Eric. I just does what Eric tells me.

Don’t get discouraged; it’s not about how many people read, it’s about connecting to someone that really needs a message that only you have. Once you put that message out there, it’s out there for a long time. Good luck!

  4. Heather says:

If Eric recommends you, I’ll read. 🙂 It’s great to find thoughtful bloggers.

  5. Susan says:

To John and Heather: What can I say? Suddenly my mind is flooded with all kinds of stuff to blog about! =)

John, you’re right. It’s about quality and not quantity. Thanks for the reminder.

Eric, I didn’t mean that you had to go out and see how many people you could get to read my blog. You do know there isn’t some kind of prize for the person who signs up the most readers, right? I just didn’t want you to get your hopes up in anticipation of a new bugatti veyron (or a used one at that):

I’m not Eric.. I am a man, and I read each and every word of your blog with interest! I enjoy hearing your “side of the story”.
    Keep them coming!

The comment count: Three men. One woman.

Does anyone find this odd? LOL.
